TEXT SCAM. PRESSCON.
I watched the morning news a while ago before going to school. The headline was about the text scam thingy. I know, we were almost scammed. The person who messaged us was the same person on TV.
Quoted is the message we often receive. [translated in English] It was sent on my dad's number.
Day 1
From: +639*********
Hello, how are you? I miss you already. I have sent you a package containing cellphones. Of course, you also have one there. Can you please send me 500 load? Miss you. Mua.
Day 2
From: the same person above.
Hi, miss you. I have sent a package for you. Please send me 300 load. Thanks.
Like who the hell would believe him/her? I know mom doesn't change her number. Especially, she can't even shortcut her message. [that is, the text is actually in a shortcut form.] And besides, mom usually texts us with a UK number. We attempted to ask who that was, but then, he/she replied, "Guess who?" Okay, we ignored it at once.

Anyway, I was chosen for English news writing for the press conference. I hope I'd win.
Ciao! xx.
